James McMahon is a keen runner and photographer, working most of his adult life in Information Technology.

In 1994 he joined Mike Nicholson Photography as a trainee photographer and dark room assistant. Back in the 80's and 90's, Mike Nicholson Photography was the leader in event photography and covered many races nationwide.

James McMahon Photography aims to provide participants with high quality images at really low prices, at the same time giving back to the event. Race organisers are not charged for photography services provided.
